America’s national labs hosted some of the world’s first web servers, ushering in the age of the internet.

Today, NASA scientists use satellites to track the health of our planet, helping predict natural disasters and vector-borne disease outbreaks. And, National Science Foundation-supported researchers are developing new high-powered MRI technologies to help vulnerable patients get life-saving treatment. Publicly-funded research from federal agencies like NSF, NASA, and DOE makes us safer and healthier.
